"Hello?" She called into the dark, empty garden shed, "is anybody there?"
The wind whistled in muffled response, sending a chill to her spine. She gently stroked the splintered door, pulling it closer. Her eyes widened like an aperture, hoping to view more than the misty abyss that lay ahead.
Last week, as part of my AS Photography mock, I constructed a garden shed from photographs. I was inspired by Ofra Lapid's 'Broken Houses' project, and have dedicated my final piece to my Grandpa. Eight hours were consumed by this project, and I am pleased with every minute spent.

Treasures.
What would you do if you lost all your treasures?
What if you woke up one day to find an empty bedroom?
A cardboard box with no life.
No photographs or books or silly cat ornaments. No notebooks or paintbrushes or old CDs.
No proof that you ever existed here.
What would you try to replace?
What would you miss the most?
What if you woke up one day to find an empty bedroom?
A cardboard box with no life.

No proof that you ever existed here.
What would you try to replace?

Aloha!
"Come on in, the water's fine!" she grinned. Her long curled locks danced through the crystal waves as she bobbed gently in the river, azure thoughts circling her mind.
"Don't be scared, I'm here for you"
She stretched out her arms, the invitation open, "My blog and I" she continued, "will always be here for you. Trust me."
And on that note, I introduce you to my blog. A place to wonder, dream and create. Feel free to look around, the water really is lovely...
