A Slightly Late Birthday Haul

So having turned 17 on the 1st of June it never really occurred to me to post a birthday haul. But typically, being a fortnight later, I stumble upon the idea. Some may not be interested, but I thought I'd share anyway; something for me to look back on in the future, eh? 

As well as money towards the camera I'm saving for (FujiFilm X10) I received some lovely and thoughtful gifts. Including a gorgeous Back to the Future box set and one of my newly favourite films Premium Rush...

...Bath and body products including Soap&Glory hand cream and my favourite scent (passion fruit) body mist...

... An awesome golden snitch bracelet as well as beautiful jewellery and accessories from les amis...

...Disney princess goodies (of course)...

...What is now known as my travel trunk, in which I will store all my travelling experiences and memories to come...

...Film Listography!!!...

...and gift cards for all my favourite places, including Odeon cinema!

I am grateful for every single one of my lovely presents and am very lucky to have such generous people in my life. Thank you everyone!

Harry Potter Picnic!

For my 17th birthday I celebrated with a bunch of school friends and hosted a Harry Potter themed picnic in the park! Here are a few of the photos from my iPhone. I do have a lot more including photographs of the hedwig piñata, book bunting and honey dukes sweets I made but these are stored on my camera's memory card. Unfortunately as my laptop is dead (never keep drinks near electronic objects...) I won't be able to upload these for a while.

-Got dressed for the first time in three days. 

-Had a film fest with a milkshake. 

-Started a summer bucket list. 

-Received a package in the mail. 

-Experienced Diggory's death. Again. 

Lana Del Rey at the Hammersmith Apollo

On Monday 20th May 2013, my best friend and I attended Lana Del Rey's Hammersmith Apollo concert. The whole night was incredibly surreal; I couldn't believe how close we were to her! She sounded perfect live and her support band, Kassidy were also great. I managed to get some great footage, even as we were singing along and waving our mountain dews in the air! We also managed to buy a gorgeous tshirt from the venue before the show. Overall it was such a perfect night!
